Dear Sarah

I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to inform you of an unforeseen situation that has come up, which unfortunately means I will need to change the dates of my visit to England.

The reason for this change is that a significant family event has been scheduled around the same time. It is something I cannot miss, as it holds immense importance to my family, and I sincerely hope you understand.

I want to apologize sincerely for this inconvenience and for any disappointment this might cause. I was really looking forward to our time together and feel terrible about altering our plans.
