Overall, the sports centre will undergo major redevelopments, with the addition of more facilities. Additionally, the area of the university’s sports center will be extended.
Now, the university’s sports center has two outdoor courts, which are placed on both sides of the main building. An entrance and a reception are located in the southern part.There is a swimming pool with a 25 m length in the center of the building. The pool is surrounded by a changing room in the west, gym in the north, and seating in the east.
In the long term, the sports center is going to be significantly redeveloped. Outdoors courts will be removed, and instead of them the main building will be extended. The entrance and the reception will remain unchanged. A sports shop and a cafe will be built to the left and to the right side from the reception. Two more changing rooms will be added in the south-west and in the south-east. The pool and its surrounding facilities will remain the same, however, the gym’area will be larger. In the western part, a leisure pool will be placed, and in the eastern-part, a sports hall will be located. Near the gym and the hall two dance studios will be constructed.
