Many people believe that parenting education should be provided by school to prepare childrens for future family roles. I completely agree with this belief and this essay will explain the main reasons.

Teaching parenting lessons at school helps young people develop responsibility. Schools, where childrens spend most of their time there, is often considered as a miniature society. Therefore, young learners are likely to experience various individuals with different personalities, which encourages them to become more responsible to get along with others. Such experiences would shape children into responsible parents in the long-term future.

Some people argue that the knowledge of how to be a good parent is something learned from real-life experience. However, this view overlooks the advantages of acquiring basic parenting knowledge at an early stage. For example, students can learn how to care for others’ health, handle stress, and build trust within people. These are essential skills that many young people may not acquire at home, especially if their parents were not positive role models.

In conclusion, although some people think parenting cannot be taught in schools, it is still useful to give students basic knowledge and skills. Learning about parenting early can help young people become more responsible parents in the future.
