The diagram illustrates the staged process of recycling cans made of aluminium.
Overall, it is clear that the process consists of 11 phases, starting from collecting waste and ending by production and release of new cans.
The aluminium can production process starts from collecting and sorting from garbage aluminium materials that can be transformed into raw material. In the second stage all collected materials are delivered into the factory with the purpose of cleaning combined with melting into small parts. The following stage is the beginning of the core process where raw material will be transformed into new cans.
First, the covering layer of the used cans are going to be removed with chemicals and will be heated inside the oven to make metal easier to ductile. The next phase is shaping and moulding cans, followed by weighting every can to measure and detect defects. The final stages are rolling cans with new cover for the purpose of commerce, the new cans are ready for delivery. The full process of the manufacture takes six weeks.
