Overall, they mostly spent on Housing than other categories, the reverse was true for healthcare and clothing, In addition, the Us allocated the highest percentages of its budget to both housing and health care compared to other three countries.
Focusing on data for common expenditures, housing was the dominant category among all nations except from Japan, which ranged between 20% and 26%, with the United states accounting for 26% which made it leader spender. Moreover, the US and Canada’s expenditures on food were less than 15%, while the United Kingdom and Japan invested nearly 21% and 23%, respectively. However, this is totally opposite in the proportion of transportation. The main spender on transportation were the USA and Canada, with 16% and 20%.
Conversely, the most money spent on healthcare was by the US citizens with 6% and other countries’ expenditures lied under 5%. Similarly, Canada and the UK spent just over 5% on clothes and others spent below 5%.
