The map above provides information about the changes experienced by the town of Harton at the beginning of the 21st Century. Through careful observation, significant changes were noticed during 2008 and 2016.
Even though the area and the river is still the same but there were major changes noticable. The major cahnges were in the land division. For example, the Old Town during 2008 became offices and a university in 2016. In addition, it’s notable that the Woodland was removed in order to construct an Industrial complex. As well as, the Residential area located at the south merged into the Insdustrial complex.
Furthermore, the lake – at the Woodland- shrunk into a pond. Other changes were that some buildings remained its structure only changing the purpose- such as the art center to a multi screen cinema, warehouse to a car park, and residential area to a shopping area. In In summary, there were major changes in the Harton’s area placement between 2008 and 2016, while some some weren’t notable.
