The maps illustrate the changes that have taken place at a school between 1985 and the present day.
Overall, the school has been significantly modernised, with the addition of several new facilities and educational buildings. As a result, the school population has increased from 1,500 to 2,300 students.
In 1985, the western side of the school contained an office, a library and a number of classrooms. Since then, the library has been replaced by a learning resources centre and a computer room. In addition, a new classroom building has been constructed in the south-western corner of the site.
Several changes have also occurred in the central and eastern areas of the school. A small car park and a classroom building located beside the former library were removed, and trees were planted in their place. Meanwhile, the two-storey classroom block on the eastern side was expanded and is now a three-storey building. Another classroom block has also been added further south.
The southern part of the school experienced considerable redevelopment. While the playing fields remain, their size has been reduced to make room for a swimming pool and a fitness centre. In contrast, the office, the main car park, and the entrance and exit roads have remained largely unchanged.
