The maps illustrate the arrangement of the public grange park in 1920 when its first opened and current plan.
Overall, the park was a green area, and now it is transformed into an entertainment area.
In 1920, the entrance from Eldon street was located directly ahead, when facing the building. In the centre of the park, a fountain was established, and in the left-side stage for musicians was located. In the right-side from the entrance, a glasshouse was situated, and in the right-side a corner pond for water plants were placed. Nearby a pond, a rose garden was based, and two more were located in the left-side between stages for musicians. A second entrance was situated between two rose gardens above, in the Arnold avenue, and seats were based all over the park.
Now, a new entrance has been built in the right-side corner. Starting from the entrance in Eldon street, instead of the fountain, a rose garden with seats has appeared. In the left-side, the stage has been developed to an amphitheatre for concerts. Instead of the glasshouse, a water feature is based, and in place of the pond for water plants and rose garden nearby, a children’s play area and cafe has been installed, respectively. The rose garden located in the bottom left side is demolished, and the place of the entrance from Arnold avenue and Eldon street have not changed location.
