The graph above shows the changes in the population of India and China from the year 2000 to the predictions in the 2050.

The vertical line of the graph shows the total population in bilion, it starts of at 1 bilion and ends at 1,7 bilion people. The horizontical line shows the years, starting at the year 2000 and ending in 2050. India is marked with a little diamond shape and China is marked with a litle circle.

India starts off with a population of a 1 billion people in 2000 and then keeps on growing quickly. The prediction is that by 2050 India will have a population of 1.6 bilion people. China on the otherhand starts of with 1,250 bilion people and grows slower than India, reaching its highest population in 2025, with 1.425 bilion people. By the year 2050 the population goes down to 1,400 bilion. Both countries cross eachother in population in the year 2030, where both countries hit a population of 1.425 bilion people.

While India keeps on growing rapitly in population, China on the otherhand grows rather slow and end ups dropping in population later on, while India never loses population.
