The bar chart illustrates how many people borned in Australia and outiside Australia in 1995 and 2010 making comparison between cities, towns and rural areas.
First of all, looking at the situation in 1995, we can see that around 50% of Australians borned in cities, 20% in towns and 30% in rural areas. Moving outside Australia the borning in cities increased of 20% and the same proportion was recorded for rural areas, while people who borned in towns declined of 10%.
Talking about 2010 we notice that values didn’t change for cities, but we can clearly see a drastic decline of people who borned in towns and rural areas. In particular around 30% of people borned in towns and rural areas in Australia instead outside the country we have a percentage of 10% and 5% respectively.
