The maps compare the layout of Nature Museum in 2010 and 2013, emphasizing the significant changes that took place in terms of recreational additions, variations of each species’ territory, and extending museum area.
Overall, the Nature Museum experienced extensive development between 2010 and 2013, most notably the expansion of the area and additions of its facilities.
In 2010, it can be said that there was a garden beside the museum. Visitors could come across the ticket desk after entrance, and also it was possible to enter Ocean Hall followed by the lobby. Furthermore, the areas of dinosaurs and mammals could be found around there.
In 2013, the garden was destroyed, and an expansion of the museum was carried out instead of its place. In the added place, a shop and a cafe began performance, and Human Origins Display also was built there. Furthermore, the area of mammals was relocated to the place which was built instead of the garden. Additionally, Ice Age’s zone and Insects’ field were replaced with mammals’ zone. It can be seen that other parts of the Nature Museum didn’t undergo any transformations.
