20 years ago the library reminded a classical library, which main function was keeping books and providing temporary access to them for the visitors of the library. At that time the space was divided into six main apartments, such as CDs, videos and computer games, children’s books, adult fiction and adult non-fiction books, reading room with newspapers and magazines and, finally, an enquiry desk. In the center of the library a small open space with tables and chairs was located.
Instead, the current plan of the library reflects changes, caused by the digital revolution in life. Firstly, more special rooms for both formal and informal communication appeared. Now you can find a space for storytelling events with comfortable sofas and children’s fiction books, a lecture room and a cafe in the library.
