The comparison of the pie chart shows the contribution to the turkey’s economy by different sectors. The highest contribution in year 2000 is from agriculture, contributing 24% of the economy but it declines in the coming years and reaches 14% by 2026 showing 10% decline in the agriculture sector which point towards less food production for increasing population. where as, the construction was sector with least contribution which increases from 3% in 2000 to 10% by the year 2016 indicating growth in the infrastructure in the country.
Manufactoring sector contributed 8% of the economy in year 2000 which slowly rised to 12% by the year 2016. Trade, Utilities and Transportation was at 14% which only increased by 2% in 16 years, i.e, 16% by 2016.
Finance, business and other sector comes only second to contruction for contributing only 5% of the economy and unlike contruction it only 3% increase by 2016 which in percentage is 8%.
while all the other sectors had increase in their contribution- government sector and leisure and hospitality sector had decline in their contribution. Government went from 12% in the year 2000 to 9% in 2016. leisure and hospitality went from 17% in the year 2000 to 14% in 2016.
