The bar chart depicts the total number of minutes of telephone calls in the UK between 1995 – 2002.
Overall, it was clear that the mobile call had three variety (local, national and international and mobiles). However, the local – fixed line was always dominated on others categories from 1995 to 2002.
Looking at the charts at more details, the UK telephone calls by categories was increased from 1995 to 1999. the local-fixed line calls amount was 88 billions which was the most telephone calls rather than other categories. From 1995 to 1998, the local-fixed line call ratio was smoothly rose from 70 billions to 88 billions. However, between 2000 and 2002, the amount of local fixed line calls was dropped, about 80 billions to 70 billions.
Similarly, during the 2002, the highest national and international calls numbers was 60 billions, one of the noticeable growth in this categories from 1995 to 2002, about 38 billions to 60 billions. Likewise, approximately 45 billions call in come in mobiles in 2002. And the lowest amount figure was 4 billions. From 1995 to 2001, the figure continuously increased from 7 billions to 38 billions.
