Overall, The percentages of household recycling in the UK and Germany experienced upward trends through the period shown, but this graph showed a decline in France.
France’s rate stood at the highest position in the initial year, about 50%, yet it went down gradually until it reached the lowest point in 2013 at 30%. However, the rate of household recycles significantly rose 10% from 2013 to 2015 and it was responsible for the third position in three countries.
In contrast to France, the percentage of Germany’s had a stable growth. It reached its lowest point in 2005 (20%) and increased quite fast until the figure of 45% in 2011. Then it maintained moderate growth in the next four years before peaking at the highest point in 2015 (just 56%). In the UK, it rose from about 35% to 40 % in 2007 and remained the same rate in two years. Then it had a sharp climb to about 55% in 2011 and still rose gradually and reached about 60% in 2015
