Overall, while the environmental organization had a high percentage of doing charity in both the 2 years, this figure for the healthcare field stood up at the last position. Additionally, the sharpest increase was witnessed in the sport group over 7 years.
Looking at the organizations had upward trends during the seven-year period. By 2008, the environmental group made up the largest percentage of volunteers among 6 groups and increased by 8% in 2014. The sport organization had the most significant rise in the proportion of volunteering which started at only 15% and the increase of 10% after 6 years made it surpassed the rate of the environmental group. A slight increase of 1% was seen in the healthcare field which made it end the timeframe with 8%.
In terms of the remaining ones. The art organization’s percentage of volunteering decreased from 18% to 12% over the seven-year period. Although it made up the largest part of the chart in the first year, the figure for educational groups had a rough decrease of 7% at the end of the period. The proportion of volunteering of others showed a decrease from 15% to 9% after 6 years.
