The two maps illustrate the industrial region of Norbiton town, as it is now and the development plans for the future.
Overall, it can be observed that industrial site will be replaced with housing area and redevelopment of some amenities, such as shops, a medical centre, a playground, and a school for public convenience.
Currently, there is a roundabout situated at the centre of the map surrounded by three factories that connects to the main road from west to east. Moreover, town is in the west and farmland in the north across the river that flows from the northwest to the northeast. Furthermore, there are some factories either side of the road that leads access to east side from the roundabout.
In the coming year, a new roundabout will be built to the south and road will be expanded from the centre roundabout to the northwest for residential areas witnessing shops to the southwest and medical centre to the southeast. Town will be as it is to the west and to the north t- bar road will be constructed across the new bridge. Consequently, farmland will be replaced with housing and shifted to the northeast. School will be added to the east at the end of the road along with a playground in between with residents on both sides.
