The line graph illustrates percentage of four varrious materials that were reused between the year 1982 and 2010 in one unspecified nation.
Overall, while plastic recycling didn’t show significant change, naluminium cas recycling rate dramatically increased and the figure for paper and cardboard and gas containers showed some flactuations over the given periods.
Looking into detail, aluminum cans and plastic recycling rate steadly rose from 1986 to 2010. In 1986, there was only around 5% of aluminium recycled although this number progressively increased and reached its climax 45% in 2010. Plastics, on the other hand, showed small rise from 1990 to 2010 with 5% and 10%, respectively.
By contrast, paper and cardboard, and glass containers did not experience progressive change from the year 1982 to 2010. During the intial years paper and cardboard recycling rate was around 70% although this number declined to 65% after 18 years. While it reached its maximum point 80% in 1994, its recycling rate start to fall and reached 65% in 2010. Similarly, glass container recycling rate observed flactuation in the given years.
