This graph demonstrates the total proportion of films realeased and ticket sales between 1996 and 2006 in the same country.
First of all, 2006 showed a unique interest in this indusrty more than what happend in 1996, either in the percentage of film released or cinema ticket sales. However, people in 1996 were more passionate about watching Romance movies than people in 2006. On the other hand, living in 1996 made the audience less interested in Fantasy, as there were more than 10% of Fantasy movies with only about 3% ticket sales. This ratio increased in 2006 reaching more than 5% of tickets’ purchasing.
Despite all of that, fans were always care about Comedy and Drama more than Fantasy and Romance. For example, the industry produced 35% and 26% of Drama movies in 2006 and 1996, respectively. Despite the difference in this ratio, it reflected into a slight difference in tickets’ buying. Finally, people loved comedian shows which appeared in revenues of both years.
