The bar graph illustrates the life expectancy in four different countries: Japan, Korea, the United States, and Indonesia in 2008, while the table provides data on increase in life expectancy from 1996 to 2008.
Overall, it is evident that Japan was counted the highest number among other countries, while Indonesia experienced the greatest change over the 12 year-period.
Looking first at the bar graph, Japan had the highest number, which was 82.7, in contrast, Indonesia showed the lowest number (70.9). Moreover, Korea and the United States had almost the same numbers, at 79.2 and 77.2 respectively.
Turning to the table, Indonesia was the country, which witnessed the highest increase, by 14.1 years until 2008, while the United States depicted a gradual increase by 3.2 years. Furthermore, Korea was the second country, which showed the highest increase, by 9.3 years. In addition, Japan’s average number increased by 5.1 years at the end of the survey.
