Overall, it can be seen that mothers spent most of their time changing their kid’s clothes, whereas fathers spent majority of their day playing games with their kids. The least amount of time spent by both mothers & fathers was for preparing for bed.
In dressing, mothers spent 70% of their time, whereas fathers contributed only about 5%. Both parents together participated in only about 5%. Regarding homework, mothers’ involvement was 60%, fathers’ was 50%, and both parents together shared 11%.
Playing games has been seen as the highest joint effort of fathers at 70%. Mothers spent about 25% of the time. Both parents joined in games about 7%. For preparing for bed, surprisingly, fathers got the highest portion with 50%, whereas mothers were at about 48%, and both parents together at just only about 6%.
