The bar chart illustrates how much money was funded for 6 kinds of charity, namely social welfare (SW), education, environment, health, wildlife and arts, by a business between 2012 and 2014.
Overall, donations increased in all fields, except the environment, which experienced a decline, and education, which remained stable. Additionally, the funding for SW was by far the highest, while the lowest funding was allocated to the arts.
Looking first at the considerably risen trends. Approximately 22 units were donated to SW at the beginning of the period, after which that figure saw significant growth to 24 units in 2014 after dropping dramatically by 6 units in 2013. In 2012, this company gave roughly 6 units to health charities, which was equal to one-quarter of that of SW in the same year, followed by a steady rise in the next 2 years, to 7 units and 9 units respectively. Moreover, the ranking for that of health increased from fourth at the beginning to second at the end of the period among the 6 types.
Regarding wildlife and arts, whose donations were 5 units or less. There were 3 units given to both charities in 2012; nevertheless, that figure for wildlife increased steadily in 2013 and 2014, to 4 units and 5 units in that order. Meanwhile, that for Arts stayed stable in 2013 before ending the period with a slight rise to 4 units.
Turning finally to education and environment. In 2012, 8 units were given to both of them. However, the donation for education fell more slightly than that of environment in 2013, with respective figures being 6 units and 5 units, and then they ended the period by making a recovery to 8 units and 7 units in that order.
