In 2004. China led significantly with 28,000 applicants. Followed by the USA with 13,000 applicants. Japan had only accounted 8,000. Lastly, Russia ranked last position with only 2,000 applicants. In 2005, The USA experienced minor decline with 22,000 applicants.
