Overall, the library has undergone significant changes, with the most noticeable being the expansion and relocation of the shared areas, and the replacement of books and magazines and by amenities such as a coffee, a wheelchair access and computers. These developments transformed this library into a more accessible and modern space.
Immediately to the left of the entrance, there used to be an area for displaying books and magazines in 1975, but it has been converted into one for using computers with multiple workstations. Walking further, the old bookshelves have been removed to make way for a coffee area with tables and chairs. Beyond this, the shared areas have been relocated and expanded to the other side of the library, while the bookshelves at the far left corner have remained unchanged.
The right-hand side of this library has undergone several changes. The new book section at the top right-hand corner has seen no changes, whereas one on the left has been redeveloped into an area for those with wheelchairs ro access. Walking further, while the previous library desk has remained intact, the area behind it is now the new shared areas with added triangular and square desks and seats for communal activities, Finally, to the bottom left-hand corner, the children’s book along with the toilet adjacent to it has remained unaltered.
