Overall, it is evident that in all three cities food and housing are the categories where people mostly spend their money, whereas healthcare and other spendings accounted the lowest percentage in 2023. In addition, only in Dubai individuals do not have extra expenditures.

In 2023, housing in Dubai made up 34% and took first place. Followed by them food represented 24 % expenditure in this year. Looking at the other three categories namely transportation, entertainment and healthcare it is clear that they showed similar proportions in 2023.Similarly, housing in Istanbul dominated even more significantly, reaching 43% of total expenditure. Food was again the second largest category at 26%. Transportation and entertainment were equal at 10%, while healthcare and other costs made up only 6% and 5 percentage.

In Moscow, food accounted for the highest proportion at 37%, whereas housing in there represented 29%. Transportation and entertainment both were displayed at 13%, whereas healthcare and other spendings showed the lowest proportions.
