The given process provides information about how olive oil is produced in a factory. Overall, the entire procedure consists of three main phases, including harvesting and treatment of olives, manufacturing oil from olives using various machines, and distribution to consumers.
The first step begins with the harvesting of olive fruits from the trees by a farmer using a rake in a large farm. All collected olive fruits are then stored in a vat for two to three days in order to meet the standard conditions for the production process. Consequently, these stored olives are rinsed out with cool water from a drainage system before entering the oil production.
In the next stage, cleaned olives are crushed in a machine, which is connected to the water system, by using three hammers. After being crushed, all of the olive stones are discarded into a container while olive paste is continuously conveyed into a hydraulic press through a pipe. Here, the olive paste is then pressed hard and filtered to take original olive oil. Eventually, the oil is spinned in a centrifuge in order to completely separate oil from water.
Finally, after spinning step the water is thrown away by a pipe while the oil is bottled in small bottles before transporting to the market.
