The bar graph provides information about the usage of land for livestock farming, crop farming, and non-agricultural purposes in a country in Asia in 2011.
Overall, it can be seen that the amount of land which was used for crop agriculture decreased, whereas that for livestock agriculture and non- agriculture increased over the period shown. Further, land use for crop agriculture was always the highest, and that for non-agriculture was always the lowest.
Looking at the crop data in more detail it is evident that the amount of land which was used for this purpose stood at about 200 million hectares(m/h) in 1950. This number slightly decreased to about 190 m/h in 1970 and remained constant at this value till 1980. By 2010, this figure had declined to about 165 m/h.
Turning to the livestock data set in more detail it is clear that 75 million hectares of land was used for this purpose in 1950. This value remained unchanged till 1970 but then grew to 82 m/h in 1990. It remained constant at this level till 2010.
Finally, the amount of land which was used for non-agricultural purposes was about 25 m/h in 1950. This number gradually increased to 72 m/h in 2010.
