Overall, most of the visitors had been to China, Japan, and Australia, and the number of visitors fell apparently at the end of the period. Furthermore, hotel and resort industries in those four sectors were the most profitable industries, however, all of them declined finally.
In 2007, over 3000 travellers went to China and Japan. Moreover, nearly 3000 travellers travelled to Australia, and over 2000 people went to Europe and the US or Canada. After a year, the number of travellers has experienced a decrease. Travellers in Europe and the US or Canada experienced a decline of more than double during the given period.
In addition, hotel and resort industries received the highest income in 2007, with 3.5 million. Transportation and travel agent sectors were the lowest, only 1.3 million. Finally, these four sectors suffered a substantial decrease at the end of 2008, especially hotel and resort sectors, most of them dropped significantly with over 50% except tour guides and other activities.
