Looking at the details, in 2016, sales of cars were under 2 million in all three continents. Whereas, China indicated a slight growth in sales of electric cars, with 1 million in 2018. On the other hand, both America and Europe remained constant at 0.3 million. Next year, Europe exhibited an insignificant rise in trade at 0.5 million, which was opposite to the demand for Chinese electric vehicles. Besides this, the demand for American cars remained unchanged.
Moving forward, in 2020, the popularity of European vehicles rose significantly, which was much higher than China’s sales, which were 1.2 million and 1 million, respectively. However, U.S. trade remained constant. It has been noted that China again beat European demand for cars in 2021, which was under 4 million. While America also illustrated slight growth in trade. From 2022 to 2023, Chinese-made vehicle clearance boosted to the top from 6 million to 8 million, respectively. European and American vehicle demand rose slightly in this same period, which was under 4 million.
