An increasing trend can be seen in the figures for three phone brands: Samsung, Apple, and ZTE. Samsung reported the highest figure in three brands; it was about $250,000 in 2009 and significantly rose to $450,000 in 2013. In addition, the sales of Apple increased six-fold, from $25,000 in 2009 to $150,000 in 2013. ZTE revenue witnessed growth, going from $50,000 in 2009 to around $52,000 in 2013.
In contrast, the sales volumes of Nokia and LG experienced a downward trend from 2009 to 2013. In 2009, Nokia had the highest figure in the chart, at about $450,000 but; this peak was short-lived, as sales dropped substantially to $250,000 in 2013. Besides, LG sales figures experienced a gradual decline from $125,000 to only $75,000 in 2013.
