The given bar chart illustrates the process of ethanol fuel production from corn
Overall, it is very clear that the process can be divided into 8 main steps, beginning with corn being stored and ending with the final product being converted to customers.
At the beginning of the process, corn is harvested from the various locations and then conveyed by trucks to the safe storage where they undergo a process of treatment. After that, corn undergoes the milling process where it is shredded into flour by special machine before it is mixed with water. Next, the mixture is cooked at high temperatures within 4 hours.
Regarding the remaining steps of the process, the mixture experiences a fermentation process which takes 2 days, at which point the mixture is classified into two major categories, liquid and solid by- product. However, the liquid is taken out to next steps where it is purified for 4 hours to remove impurities before the resulting ethanol is stored. The last stage is when ethanol is transported to retailers.
