The diagram explains the process of producing ethanol fuel from corn.
Overall, it is clear that there are eight steps in the production of ethanol, which starts with the storage of the corn and ends with the transportation. It is worth noting that the majority of stages are done by special machinery in a factory.
To produce ethanol fuel, corn first must be delivered to the factory by truck, where it will be stored for some time. After corns are stored enough, they are milted, making them ready to be cooked. Once milted corns are cooked for four hours, they undergo the fermentation process, which takes 48 hours.
In the fifth step, after fermentation, the mixture is separated into liquid and solid by-product. Subsequently, the liquid is purified for five hours to extract ethanol before being stored in large tank containers. Finally, when ethanol fuel is ready for distribution, it is transported to gas stations.
