The bar chart illustrates the total exports in percents from one country by different modes of transportatin between 2010 and 2012.
Overall, during the 3 year period the exports transported by the sea followed an upwards trend whereas air and road transport steadily declined. Furthermore, exports by sea was the most popular way of transporting good for the whole period. However, in 2010 export by road was the least popular, but in 2012 transport by air was the least popular.
In 2010 around 45% of total exports were done by the sea while by the road was less than half of that. By 2011 the sea exports increased by few percent, reaching nearly 50% of the total exports while exports by air and road decreased by around 8% each. The following year, in 2012, the sea exports peaked at around 55%. In comparison, the air exports continued to decline and dipped to almost 15%, on the other hand, export by road slightly increased above 15%.
