Overall, there were consistent differences about transports by sea and other methods.
In fact, taking a closer look, on the one hand, total exports through the sea didn’t never go under 40%; furthermore, the sea represented the favorite method of transport, showing a gradual increase over the years, from approximately 45% in 2010, to more than half of 100% in 2012. On the other hands, s far as air and road methods are concerned, features indicate a diverse trend. A quarter oftotal exports was transported by air in 2010; then, numbers continue to decrease, reaching almost a 15% in 2012. Finally, road method presents some flucutating data which a fifth of goods were transported using this mode in 2010, reaching almost a tenth of total exports in 2011. However, from this last year began a slow rise, indeed in 2012, 15% of total exports were led by road.
