Chemicals and Mineral products industry was the most exported for the rest of the UK with 5 billion pounds, while Agriculture, Forestry, Fishing and Mining industry was the least with 600 million pounds. The other leading industries were Manufacturing of food and drink, Electrical and Instrument Engineering and Metals, Mechanicals and Transport Equipment with 4,4 billion, 4 billion and 2,1 billion pounds exported to the rest of the UK. The other three industries were around 1 billion pounds each.
Scotland’s leading export industry to the rest of the world was Business Services and Finance, Hotels and Restaurant Services with 13.8 billion pounds. The other two leading export industries for the rest of the world were Chemicals and Mineral products and Wholesale and Retail with 9.5 billion and 8.2 billion pounds. The rest of the export industries for the rest of the world were ranged from 2.3 billion to 5.9 billion pounds.
