The given bar chart illustrates how five organizations spent money in each categories.
Looking from an overall perspective, it is readily apparent that spending patterns varied significantly across different organizations. Building and research were the most common categories that organizations invested in. Staff training was not a common category to invest in, but organization B spent most of its money on this category.
Regarding organizations that focus most on building, organization A invested most money in building, at around 1.5B euros, followed by those in staff training and research, at 1.2B euros and approximately 1.1B euros, respectively; and machinery had the lowest spending. Organization D also had quite a similar pattern to that of organization E, with building spending being the largest amount of money, at the same 1B euros. The amount of money organization D spent on machinery was about 1.1B euros, which was higher than that on staff training, at approximately 0.7B euros; in contrast, organization E spent more money on staff training (0.9B) than on machinery (1B), respectively. At the same time, research spending was the lowest figure for both organizations, at 0.6B euros and about 0.7B euros, respectively.
The amount of money organization B invested in staff training had the highest, at around 1.9B euros, followed by those in research and building, at 1.6B and 1.4B euros; and machinery had the lowest figure. Standing at 1.3B euros, the amount of money organization C spent on machinery and research was higher than that on building, at 1B euros, and staff training received the least investment.
