Overall, it is clear that the largest number of smart phones was used by 12-24 year olds, while the lowest figure was can be seen in e-readers of the same group. In addition, the largest difference is recorded in the use of e-readers.
In detail, the percentages of smart phones used by 12-24 year olds was twice as much as the figure for tablet devices, contributing around 65% and 31%, respectively. Similarly, the proportion of 51-75 year olds using smart phones stood at 35%; 10% higher than the number of people who use tablet at the same age. At the age of 25-50 year olds the percentages of using smart phones and tablets was respectively similar, accounting for above 40%. For those over 76, the number of people using smart phones and tablets was smaller than other devices, fewer than 10%.
Regarding to other devices, e-reader users over 76 was more than double the number of people using laptop users. The figure for 51-75 year olds users of laptops made up over 40%, while the proportion of e-reader users reached only approximately 7%. The percentage of people at 25-50 year olds who used laptops and e-readers was similar, standing at nearly 10%. Finally, the 12-24 age groups, the percentage of laptop is lower than 10%, while e-readers appear to be unused by this group.
