Overall, the divorce rates in both European countries showed erratic movements. Finland had a significant drop however then recorded a sharp growth, while Sweden experienced a noticeable rise followed by substantial reduction. At the beginning Sweden had a higher rate but by the end it was lower than Finland
The divorce percentage in Sweden was gradually increased from approximately 45% to 49% it grew between 2011 and 2012 years, however then it was moderately drop during a 2 years and in a year it was considerable decline to 38%
While in 2011 and 2012 the divorce rates in Finland was downward from just around 38% to 32% . After 2012 it was slowly growth but there hasn’t been growth since 2014 . Therefore at the end the divorce percentage in this country was higher on a few rates than in Sweden
