The bar chart depicts the calculated oil capacity of six regions, namely Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and UAE since 1990 through 2010. The data is represented in millions of barrels per day.
Overall, it is evident from the bar chart that Saudi Arabia had the biggest oil capacity. Conversely, Qatar considered as the region with the least number of oil capacity.
Regarding Iraq and Kuwait, they both had a similar pattern of increase. However, Iraq had a slightly higher number compared to Kuwait in 1990 at 2 millions of barrels, while Kuwait accounted at a little under 1 millions. Moreover, they both increased steadily over the past two decades reaching at 3 millions. In the year 1990, as to Iran’s oil capacity justified at 3 millions and rose to just above 4 millions during 2010.
In terms of Qatar, it remained low at somewhat below 1 million in 1990, 2005, and 2010, and went up to 1 million in 2000. The first two decades, UAE stayed at marginally above 2 millions then increased consistently to a little above 3 millions in 2010. Saudi Arabia started at a bit over 8 millions and reached the peak in 2010 at 15 millions.
