Overall, in 2005 the university in the UK acquired most students by teaching quality and sports facilities, while in 1985 teaching quality and degree programs were the main reasons to study in the UK among learners. In contrast, in 2005 proximity to home showed the lowest figure.
To start with the highest figures, in 2005 at around 28% students accounted for sport facilities, making it the largest figure. Teaching quality ranked second common reason chosen by learners, making up just over 25% students. Following by, 20% students choosing degree programs. However, students showed less interest on home proximity which accounted for the lowest figure, illustrating merely 10% students.
In terms of other categories, teaching quality stood at about 24% students in 1985, following by degree programs, with 20% learners. Finally, sports facilities were counted as the lowest chosen reason to study in 1985 by students, reporting only at around 14% learners
