Overall, the most significant changes over the period were seen in households earning less than $50,000 and those earning $100,000 or more, with noticable increase in the latter group by 2015. Furthemore, house owners with income from $75,000 to $100,000 remained relatively stable all year.
In 2007, the number of households with income less than $25,000 was 26 million,closely followed by those in the $25,000-$49,999 was about 28 million. These numbers increased slightly after 4 years,residence owners with lowest income of less than $25,000 and $25,000-$49,999 raeched to 28 and 30 millions respectively. However, these figures declined imperceptibly and by 2015 compouned 27 and 28 millions.
By contrast, the number of household owners earning from $50.000-$74.999 and from $75,00-$99,999 experienced little change throughout the period. The figures of owners with annual income $50,000-$74,999 remained static, at 21 million from 2007 to 2015. With higher income of $75,000-$99,999, this number dropped slowly to 13 million in 2011. After, reached exactly 15 million in 2015. The highest income category, $100,000 or more, showed a more pronounced upward trend, climbing from 29 million in 2007 to 34 million by 2015.
