Overal,it is clear that the Guangzhou consistently recorded the highest levels of precipitation among the five cities across all three months,while Urumqi remained nearly stable and most driest town throughout the period.
Guangzhou dominated the chart ,peaking roughly 300mm in June before falling down in September to the point around 170 mm. Before it’s peak Guangzhou hit a low of in the March nearly 90 mm. Then Shanghai followed similar trend by peaking its high of 180mm in June. Meanwhile Chengdu experienced the most dramatic growth ,jumping from almost 25mm in March to a peak of 150mm by mid-year,eventually overtaking Shanghai’s September figures.
