Overall, work, day trip and entertainment are the purposes which the male number surpass their female counterpart whereas meeting friends, taking children to school and shopping do the opposite.

To begin with, work, day trip and entertainment purposes are where male figure is dominant. There are 35000 miles travelled by male compared to 30000 miles by female. 15000 miles of men travel contributes to entertainment purpose and the number of women is just roughly 4000 miles lower. there are just 10000 miles allocated for day trip by men and about 7000 miles by women.

Meeting friends, taking children to school and shopping are the categories where the number of milleage of female succeed the male figure. About 30000 miles is travelled by woman and 28000 miles by men for shopping. the number of men and women in taking children to school shows a small difference with 27000 miles of female and around 26000 miles of male.
