The bar chart below illustrates the proportion of involvement in daily physical exercise of male and female Australians, differing from age growth in 2010. Overall, men engage in physical activity less than women.
The percentage of young men between ages of 15 and 24 reached its peak at 52.8 percent, while women who are between 45 and 54 have the most involvement rate at 53.3 percent. Men who are aged 35 to 44 are at least a fraction of doing regular physical activity at 39.5 percent, whereas women who are 64 and over involve in regular activities less than other age groups.
Interestingly, male engagement in regular physical activities do not rise more than approximately 48%, at that time, female involvement rate starts with about 47% and goes further. Also, both men and women are at 47% of doing physical activities at the age of 65 and over.
