Overall, the number of women who did physical activity, from young adults prior to elderly, surpassed the count of men throughout the given period. However, the youngest men exceeded the youngest women.
As it is seen in the chart; elderly men and women over 65 were almost equal, with a percentage of 46.7% and 47.1% respectively. Further more, females reached their highest physical exercise proportion in the ages between 45 and 54 with a percentage of 53.3%. On the other hand, men arrived only at 43.1%, where females preceded them by a margin of 10.2%.
However, men surpassed women in the ages from 15 to 24 with a proportion of 52.8% reaching their heighest number in 2010. Conversely, women at the same age fell behind men by a difference of 5.1% with a percentage of 47.7%.
