In general, the percentage of households in the second highest income level uses more internet. It is also noticeable that there is a dramatic increase in the global connection usage across all wage gainers from lowest to highest in both years.
The lowest income earners uses internet at aproximately 37% and nearly 50% in 2010 and 2020 respectively. Moreover, this group registered the smallest number of members using the global connection. In addition, the second lowest income earning households surged its internet access to around 57% and 64% in 2010 and 2020 successively.
The second highest wage receivers showed further increase of social media usage at about 78% in 2010, and above 80% in 2020, which is the biggest figure across all the salaried families. Furthermore, the highest wage receivers showed a reduced amount of global connection usage at nearly 65% and 70% showed interest in 2010 and 2020 progressively compared to the third earning group.
