Overall, in both years the highest percentage of shopping accounted for people between 26 and 35 years old, while the lowest proportion accounted for people who older than 65. Individuals between 36 and 45 were also made up the significant proportion of the online shopping in both years. Moreover, the percentages of online shopping increased in every age group in 2009.
In detail, the most lowest pecentages were made up by age groups between 15 and 25, 56 and 65, and by people older than 65. To illustrate, age group between 15 and 25 stood at 20% in 2007, and increased slightly by 2% after two years as well as age group older than 65, which made up 10% in 2007 and increased to 12% in 2009. The another age group from 56 to 65, made up 15% in 2007 and increased to 20% in 2009.
In addition, the another figures accounted for high percentages. One of them is age group from 26 to 35, they stood at 38% in 2007, however increased to 42% in 2009. Moreover, people between 36 to 45 also increased by 4% in 2009 with 30% in 2007. There are two other trends, which are grew by 5% in 2009, first is age group between 46 and 55, they accounted for 23% in 2007 and rose to 28%. Meanwhile, the average trend demonstrated growth to 29% in 2009 from 24% in 2007.
