The bar chart provies the data about the proportion of three categories of people who consumed 5 portions of fruit and vegetables every day in the UK starting with 2001 to 2008.
Overall, all three figures saw a rapid improvement,moreover women exibited the highest trend during the given period.
Starting with children, this figure levelled off between 2001 and 2003, then it climbed gradually until 2007 and it reached just above 25%, however, it declined negligibly in 2008, it declined to 25%. The figure for men remained stable in the first three years after it went up continuously to 2007 then it saw slight decline in the end just above 25%, furthermore men and children saw a similar pattern.
Regarding the biggest trend, the indes of women rose consistently from above 20% to more than 30%, finally it reduced to just above 30% then it decreased to 30% in the end of the period.
