The bar chart gives the information about the number of students who were successful in their high school competency during the period from 2010 to 2011. It is obvious that female students almost had better results than male students in most subjects in the exams during the period shown.
As can be seen, students majoring in three subjects: foreign languages, mathematics and computer science, performed better in exams from both sexes. Especially, girls accounted for much more percentages than boys, reached to 47.4%; 49.2%; 56.3% in three fields above, while boys made up 46.8%; 48.4%’ 42.15% respectively, were less than the percentage of male. Women also had the highest rates in the field of computer science.
Turing to remaining subjects, the proportion of students in both sexes passed the high school exams with successful results was not as much as the subjects mentioned before. The difference was greater in chemistry, girls made up 30.2%, as opposed to 14.1% male leaners. It’s alo noticeable that geography is the only subject which boys’ results were better than girls, at 30,4% and 20.1% respectively.
