The graph shows the amount of the inhabitants in the UK who expend the suggested number of fruit and vegetables on a daily basis in three years: 2002,2006 and 2010.
Overall,there was an increase in the percentage of men and women in the UK who consumed the recommended everyday amount of fruit and vegetables in three years,while a decline was seen in the remaining group.In addition,UK women’s consumption of fruit and vegetables consistently had the highest figures throughout the period.
As for the proportion of UK men’s ingestion of fruit and vegetables which recommended daily started at 22% in 2002,after which it experienced a moderate increase to 28% in 2006,before ending the period at 24% in 2010.Similarly,the amount of UK female counterparts were in the range from 25% to reached the highest point at 32% between 2002 and 2006,followed by a slight decrease to 27% in 2010.
Regarding the children who consumed advocated regular fruit and vegetables increased minimally from 11% in 2002 to 16% in 2006,but later dropped small to 14% in the last year of the period.
